Too many parents are centered on their baby majoring in something with a big monetary return and the flexibility to get a job proper out of faculty. But, while it is true that Ungar is the president of a liberal arts school, and that he is clearly bashing critics, he seems to do it from a kind of center floor, as if an outsider is the one offering the information. Many faculty students take English, communication, and group-constructing lessons whereas pursuing a degree in a more ‘professional’ subject to show ‘laborious skills.’ Just because someone lacks a liberal arts degree doesn’t mean that the person lacks the basic skills typically accompanying the diploma. But setting this apart for the second, I’m greater than fascinated by this model of training.
