As one of the longest-standing modern art galleries in Auckland, the Flagstaff Art Gallery has been representing local Kiwi artists since 1993. Entry requires a free ticket, which could be booked online or in person. This common entry ticket consists of access to the nationwide assortment, the Sculpture Gardens and most exhibitions — advance online bookings are recommended. Tucked away behind Hollywood Road, near the trendy Tai Ping Shan precinct, Square Street has been targeted on incubating rising Hong Kong artists since 2021.
